Patient Rights

1- Right to Benefit from Services
Our patients and their relatives who receive health care services have the right to benefit from all services and be informed about the diagnosis and treatment opportunities offered by our hospital and how to access these services without taking into account language, religion, race or creed.

2- Right to Obtain Information
Our patients have the right to be informed about the offered medical interventions, potential risks or benefits of each intervention, alternatives, and the outcome of refusing a treatment.

3- Right Know, Choose and Change Healthcare Professionals
Our patients have the right to learn identities, duties and titles of physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals responsible for their own treatment as well as choose and change them.

4- Right Choose and Change Health Institution-Organization
Our patients have the right to choose and evaluate the healthcare provider on the condition that the procedures and conditions stipulated by the applicable legislation are complied with.

5- Right to Refuse and Stop Treatment
Patients have the right to refuse treatment planned or already provided with them or request its discontinuation, except for legally obligatory cases and provided that the responsibility of the negative consequences that may arise belongs to the patient.

6- Right to Privacy
Our patients have the right to receive service in an environment suitable for privacy throughout the entire treatment process. The health status, medical condition and all personal information of all individuals applying to our hospital are kept confidential even after death.

7- Right to Expect Respect
Our patients have the right to be examined and treated in a respectful, compassionate and friendly environment at any time under all conditions by means of protection of their dignity.

8- Right to Request Consultation (Second Opinion)
Our patients have the right to request a consulting physician for diagnosis and treatment. The consulting physician can recommend a treatment method, but only the patient's attending physician can approve a procedure.

9- Right to Fulfill Religious Obligations
Our patients have the right to freely fulfill their religious obligations, regardless of their religion, as long as these obligations do not interfere with treatment.

10- Right to Safety
Everyone has the right to be safe at the health institution and demand it.

11- Right to Have a Companion and Visitor
Our patients have the right to receive visitors and have companions in accordance with the procedures and principles of our hospital.

12- Right to Request Order of Priority Setting
Our patients have the right to receive visitors and have companions in accordance with the procedures and principles of our hospital.

13- Right to Communicate
Our patients incapable of understanding the official spoken language at our hospital have the right to request an interpreter for communication purposes if it is available and affordable.

14- Right to Express Complain, Opinion and Suggestion

15- Right to Consent
Our patients have the right to consent or reject the decisions made for their treatments after receiving detailed information about the chances of success, possible risks and recovery period associated with the examination and treatment to be provided, except for medical and legal obligations.

16- Prohibition of Non-Medical Interventions
Anything that could lead to death or life-threatening condition, violate physical integrity or reduce mental or physical capacity cannot be done or demanded except for the purpose of diagnosis, treatment and protection.

17- Prohibition of Euthanasia
The euthanasia is prohibited. The right to life is indispensable under no circumstances. No one's life can be ended, even if it is demanded by the patient or someone else.

Patient Responsibilities

1- Our patients are responsible for complying with the rules and administration of our hospital.

2- Our patients are responsible for acting in accordance with the precautions and rules to be taken by the hospital in case of disturbing situations such as noise, visitors’ inconvenience and smoke.

3- Our patients and their relatives are responsible for being responsive about all the measures recommended to them in order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

4- Our patients are responsible for paying the costs of examinations and treatments. Our patients and relatives who intentionally damage fixed assets and consumables of the hospital are responsible for compensating the damage.

5- Our patients are responsible for receiving as few visitors as possible at the same time as well as the visitors are responsible for not bringing food or drink with them, not using other patients' belongings and complying with hospital visiting hours.

6- Our patients are responsible for providing as complete and accurate information as possible about their complaints, previous illnesses, treatments and medical interventions, current medications taken, if any, and information about their health.

7- Our patients are responsible for behaving in accordance with the hospital's rules and principles and acting with a participatory approach as a part of the diagnosis and treatment team.

8- Our patients are responsible for visiting for follow-up examinations at times scheduled by physician and giving feedback on the course of their treatment.

9- Our patients are responsible for complying with the appointment date and time and informing the relevant department about possible changes that may occur.

10- Our patients are responsible for respecting the rights of other patients and personnel, and those who are given priority according to the relevant legislation.

11- Our patients are responsible for not attempting in verbal and physical assaults on the healthcare professionals.

12- Our patients are responsible for applying to the "Patient Relations Department" when they think their rights have been violated.
